These laddus are healthy, tasty, packed with proteins, essential fatty acids, antioxidants and minerals. They are little factories of good health.

You can make them within minutes. Very convenient to pack them in kids' lunch boxes or give them with a hot glass of milk in the morning when they don't have the time for breakfast.

All you need to do is roast some sesame seeds until they pop. Transfer to a bowl. Heat some ghee and fry some raisins until they puff out. Then fry some crushed nuts like almonds, cashew nuts and pistachios.

Grind some dates coarsely and add these to the nuts' mixture and add some cardamom powder or nutmeg powder for that magical flavour. Now mix all the above ingredients well to form the laddus when the mixture is still warm.

The leftover laddus can be stored in an airtight container and kept in the refrigerator so that the taste remains in tact for days together.
