Whether you use a toaster or a pan, this sandwich can be made in 5 minutes. All you need to do is spread some butter on one side of each slice of brown bread, mix some green chilli, onion, pepper and your favourite cheese for the filling and you have a amazing sandwich. I bet you will love it.

CHILLI CHEESE TOAST RECIPE:

Prep time: 2 mins. Cook time: 3 mins.

Yields: 4 sandwiches

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of brown bread (you can even use white bread)

  • 1 green chilli, chopped (You can deseed chilli for kids)

  • 2 tbsp chopped onion

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup tasty cheese or as per your taste

  • Butter for spreading on the bread slices

Method:

  1. Spread butter on 1 side of each bread slice

  2. In a small bowl mix onion, salt, green chilli & pepper powder

  3. Spread this mixture on plain side of bread and place in a hot toaster with butter side up

  4. Open the toaster when toast becomes crisp and golden brown

Enjoy with tomato sauce
