In South India, curry leaves are used in tempering most of the vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes not just because they add a distinct flavour and aroma to the dishes but also because of the health benefits of curry leaves.

Curry Leaves are a rich source of iron and folic acid. They help lower the blood sugar levels and cholesterol. They improve digestion and prevent greying of hair.

So, now you know why people in South use curry leaves daily either in the form of tempering or chutney.

So, try this new Chutney, which can be prepared in 5 minutes. I have not added lentils, tamarind etc. but kept it simple with minimum ingredients.
