Hi friends, try this healthy, easy, quick Sweet & Spicy Rava breakfast recipe in 10 minutes to kick start your day and please don't forget to comment, like, share and SUBSCRIBE to my channel Curry for the Soul on YouTube for more such easy and healthy recipes.

Rava (Rawa, sooji) or Semolina is a healthy breakfast recipe. Semolina is made up of durum wheat which means it keeps you full for a longer period of time and prevents you from overeating. It is digested very slowly . It increases your energy. If you want to reduce weight, then include rava in your diet.

I know people make Rava upma which is savoury. Or they make sheera which is sweet. I tried this combination of sweet and spicy and without the need to chop onion, ginger, tomatoes, etc. This recipe is perfect for busy people and the kids.

All you need to do is roast the rava in a pan. If you have the time, you can roast the rava in advance whenever you buy it from the store and store it in an airtight container, to save your time. In any case, roasting rava takes only 5 mins.

Then you have to just heat the oil and splutter some mustard seeds, add green chillies, curry leaves for the flavour and add mixed dry nuts which are readily available in any store. Dry nuts are packed with vitamins, essential fats and nutrients to keep you healthy and fit.

I have used jaggery instead of sugar which gives you instant energy and prevents you from anaemia. It also heals coughs and colds.

Once you add the hot water, the rava absorbs water in 2 minutes. Then you add some raisins and garnish with coriander leaves. Your healthy and delicious Sweet and Spicy Rava is ready within 10 minutes. Please try it. I can't wait to hear from you.
