HEALTHY SMILEY CRACKERS FOR KIDS
Hey guys, here is a brilliant idea to make food fun for kids. Let's make some healthy CRACKERS at home with a SMILEY FACE instead of the store bought ones.
Involve the kids while making these smiley faces and ask them to be creative and try some other faces or designs. See how happily they will create the designs with their little hands and wait impatiently until they are fried to gobble them up. They will surely take them to school for their morning tea break to show off to their friends that they made them.

HEALTHY SMILEY CRACKERS FOR KIDS RECIPE:
Prep time: 30 mins. Cook time: 15 mins. Total time: 45 mins.

Recipe Type: Kids awesome snacks
Yields: 40 smiley crackers
2 cups whole-wheat flour
1/2 cup semolina
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp freshly crushed black pepper
1 tsp fennel seeds
1 tsp carom seeds
1 tbsp kasuri methi
1/2 cup vegetable oil
A straw to create eyes
A spoon to create the mouth
Oil for deep frying
In a food processor put whole-wheat flour, semolina, salt, crushed black pepper, fennel seeds, carom seeds, kasuri methi, 1/2 cup oil and blend until it turns crumbly.
Add little warm water to make a smooth dough
Drizzle some oil on the dough, cover and keep aside for 20 mins.
After 20 minutes, take a small portion of the dough and knead it for a minute and roll out an even disc.
Now take a small round cutter and cut out circles of dough to make the outline of face.
Take a straw and create 2 eyes and with a spoon create the mouth as shown in the picture
Remove all the smileys in a plate
Heat oil and deep fry the smileys over medium low heat until light brown and crispy
Remove on a paper towel to drain the excess oil
After completely cooling, store them in an airtight container and enjoy whenever you want.
