Hey guys, try some 'hot' garnish made from fresh chillies. Remember, I decorated my Chicken Flower Dumplings with chilli flowers? My friends wanted to know how I make the chilli flower garnish. Here it is.
These can be made well ahead of time and kept in the fridge in cold water & can be presented in a flash.
So, lets get creative and make a lovely chilli flower garnish.
Prep time: 5 mins. For blooming: 20 mins. Total time: 25 mins.

3 fresh red chillies
A sharp knife & scissors
Ice cold water
Snip off the tip of chillies
Snip the chilli in half lengthwise till the stem
Carefully remove the seeds (if the chillies are just for decoration, you can keep the seeds. They look nice like real flowers)
Cut each half again into 2-3 strips
Soak in ice cold water for 20-30 mins.
They will bloom like flowers
Keep them in fridge in cold water until the time of garnish
