Gajar Halwa is a popular classic dessert made for festivals in every Indian household. Guys, now you don't have to wait for festivals for preparing this dessert. Follow this recipe and you can have a Gajar Halwa whenever you feel like, in just 10 minutes.

  • 5-6 medium carrots grated (food processor is faster for grating)

  • 2 tbsp ghee (clarified butter)

  • 1/4 cup condensed milk (you can use more or less as per your taste)

  • Dry fruits of your choice (Cashew nuts, raisins, pistachios, almond slivers, etc.)

  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

  • A pinch of salt


  1. Grate carrots

  2. Heat ghee

  3. Add grated carrots and cook over low flame

  4. When half cooked, add condensed milk

  5. Keep stirring until the liquids in the mixture almost dries up

  6. Add dry fruits and cardamom powder

  7. Mix it well and switch off flame.
