Hi Foodies, prepare your tastebuds for Chilli Carbonara Pasta. A classic Italian dish which has taken the world by storm. Add a touch of Indian, to spice it up and Ooh la la... it brings your senses alive.

My grand kids love this pasta. So, why not try it and make your kids happy? We should appreciate other cuisines as well. After all, we want our kids to be happy.

  • 250 g egg pasta

  • 2 eggs and 1 egg yolk

  • 150 g bacon

  • 2 fresh red chillies, chopped

  • 1 tbsp Oregano

  • 1 tbsp garlic, mined

  • 1 cup milk cream (optional)

  • 1 tbsp crushed pepper

  • 1 cup parmesan cheese

  • Water for boiling pasta

  • Salt to taste


  1. Boil water in a large vessel and add 1 tbsp salt to it

  2. Add the egg pasta and cook until soft

  3. Drain in a colander and keep aside

  4. In a non-stick pan, fry bacon until crisp and brown

  5. Remove and keep aside

  6. In the same fat, add garlic

  7. Add chopped red chillies and saute for a minute

  8. Add milk cream and stir

  9. Add Oregano

  10. Add crushed pepper and mix

  11. Add boiled pasta

  12. Add bacon and mix it well with pasta

  13. Beat 2 eggs and 1 egg yolk and mix parmesan cheese into the egg mixture

  14. Add this egg and cheese mixture to the pasta and mix thoroughly and switch off flame immediately. (eggs should not get scrambled)

  15. Serve hot
